Outreach
J-ADD provides consultation, identification, support, partnership, and advocacy services through the Outreach division.
Consultation and support for individuals not currently being served by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Identification of services and activities which benefit individuals with developmental disabilities including but not limited to volunteerism, classes and mentoring programs. Support with questions about residential settings/options for individuals with developmental disabilities, health related services, Medicare and Medicaid. Partnership with community agencies both Jewish and secular providing a wide range of external supports for our clientele including support groups, direct care services and advocacy. Our advocacy services help with navigating the legal, administrative and bureaucratic processes and systems our client's and their families face. |
